Booking Conditions

1. RESERVATIONS Provisional bookings by phone will be held for 7 days only. A booking is only affected by us receiving a completed and signed booking form along with a deposit. (Cheques made payable to Carpenters Tinney Cottages).
2. BALANCE The balance of any booking is to be paid 6 weeks prior to the start of your holiday, or at the time of booking if within this period.
3. CARE OF THE PROPERTY The hirer will take good care of the accommodation, and will leave the cottage in a clean and tidy condition before departing. (Cleaning materials & hoover etc. are in each cottage). Please leave the cottage as you found it on your arrival.
4. LIABILITY The hirer is responsible for all members of the party. If any damage or breakages are caused the hirer is responsible for these costs. If you or any member of your party causes a nuisance of themselves, or fails to observe the booking conditions, we reserve the right to ask you to vacate the property without any compensation being payable to you.
5. OCCUPANTS Only the number or people specified on the booking form may occupy the accommodation.
6. HOLIDAY DATES BOOKED No reduction will be made for temporary absence or premature departure from the original dates booked.
7. ARRIVAL / DEPARTURE TIME Your cottage will be ready from 3.30 pm on your arrival day and you will need to vacate the cottage by 9.30 am on your last day.
8. UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES We reserve the right to cancel a booking already made if the property becomes unavailable through circumstances beyond our control. Full monies will be refunded but we shall be under no further liability.
9. CANCELLATION If you should have to cancel your holiday, please inform us as soon as possible. While every effort will be made to re-let the accommodation, if we are unsuccessful you will be liable to forfeit monies already paid. (Your deposit if more than 6 weeks from the start of your booking date, or the total holiday price if less than 6 weeks from the start of booking date). We advise you take out holiday insurance.
10. HOLIDAY INSURANCE We recommend that you take out holiday insurance. We will not be held responsible for any personal injury or loss/damage to personal belongings while staying at the cottages.
11. NO SMOKING Strictly no smoking allowed in the cottages.
12. SUPERVISION OF CHILDREN Children must be supervised at all times when using the play equipment.
13. HOT TUB Rules for the hot tub must be followed at all times. Due to maintenance / repair of the hot tub no reduction will be given if it is unavailable for use. The hot tub is for use by everyone over the age of 16 named on the booking form. (Please note for health and safety reasons hot tubs are not recommended for children). Hot tub open October - End of May.
    You must shower before using the hot tub. ( Sand, salt water, sun cream, body lotion, sweat etc. destroys the chemicals that are used to keep the hot tub clean).
14. ELECTRICITY SUPPLY Electric and heating is by meter reading. The first £10.00 is included in the cost of your holiday. Any additional electric used is to be paid for at the end of your stay.
15. PETS We will allow a small dog by prior arrangement, but this will be at our discretion and at certain times of the year.
